The ATPI Group ranks among the world’s most recognized travel and events management companies. Since 1919, the Group has been providing customers with logistics, organization, planning and implementation services, applying proven know-how and finely tuned expertise to complex projects.

The ATPI Group is composed of several specialized divisions, including ATPI Corporate Travel, ATPI Marine & Energy, ATPI Corporate Events, ATPI Mining and Resources, ATPI Sports Events and Direct ATPI.

A history of experts and major international acquisitions

The ATPI Group—as it is known today—was formed in 2002, when a number of corporations in the UK and the Netherlands joined forces. Management continued to acquire and integrate diverse businesses into the Group, with the purchase of Newhaven Travel in the US (2003) and MTV in France (2005). In 2006, they acquired the majority of ATP Netherlands.

The Group continued its buy-and-build strategy, acquiring Instone International, a marine travel management company with an international network, in 2009, and Pathfinder Travel, in 2010.

In 2014, ATPI completed the acquisition of Voyager Travel, the leading independent travel management company in Australia. That same year, management continued to fuel growth when it acquired Griffin Travel, a specialist travel management company with offices in 13 countries. In September 2017, ATPI joined forces with Direct Travel, a leading provider of corporate travel management services, to form Direct ATPI—a global travel management solution for multinationals.

The company continues to develop its international network of franchises and partners. Today, ATPI comprises a group of seasoned experts in more than 120 countries. The company’s Canadian division came into being in 2016, when it was named official ticketing, travel and hospitality partner of the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC). ATPI Canada has offices in Montreal and Toronto.
